Open Doors
Space for Architecture, Khmer Architecure Tours and the Heritage Mission
10am-5pm Sunday, Sept 11
City tour - see map for locations and route

Open Doors Phnom Penh celebrates and stimulates dialogue on the theme of architecture and urban design. For the second time in Cambodia, Open Doors offers the public free access to public and private buildings. In 2011 Open Doors focuses on private and public living and working spaces, characterized by innovative design, multifunctional use and expressing the overall idea of 'A Space in Transition.'

"Open Doors" events have been realized in the past decades in many cities around the world to improve architectural knowledge and to promote urban heritage in London, Paris, Istanbul, Toronto and other cities.

FREE TRANSPORT: All buildings on the tour are part of a temporary 'public tuk tuk line' which is offered for free and runs between 10am and 5pm. Just hop on a tuk tuk in front of one of the buildings (marked in black) on the map and it will bring you to the next stop! The tuk tuks are generously sponsored by Frangipani Villa Hotels.
