With an extensive background in sculpture and arts education, Sasha Contable relocated from England to Cambodia in 2000 as an artist in residence by invitation of the World Monuments Fund.With a passion for the Cambodian culture and community, Sasha has assisted in bringing awareness to small arms and demining issues through the use of Art. In 2009, she worked with 10 Cambodian artists on a landmine exhibit for the United Nations.

Sasha has been curating art exhibitions to promote Cambodian contemporary artists since 2002 and also managed the Art House gallery in Siem Reap (2006-2008). Alongside her role as City Co-Curator for Siem Reap, she is currently the curator at the Park Hyatt Siem Reap, formerly known as Hotel de la Paix.
